Now, imagine this being the first time learning to swim, and goggles are not allowed. That’s what happened in UK, children were banned wearing goggles in case they accidentally snap them on their own face.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has spent a lot of money researching on a substance which can be coated on their helmet visor in order for it to stay clear of condensation.

On 25th May 2011, Discovery News reported that an astronaut had some minor tearing problem as this antifog solution had accidentally dripped into his eyes.

“The anti-fog is just off-the-shelf dishwashing soap. So if you have ever had soap in your eye, you know how that feels.”

Are you spending $15 on a small bottle of special solution? Do you want us to sell you a repackaged detergent?

There are many homemade recipes which you can use to prevent fogging of your goggles. One tested and proven substance will be the plain old toothpaste!

With readily available product at home, dap a little toothpaste on your finger and rub it on the inside of the goggles. After that, rinse the toothpaste off with a running tap. Do not attempt to use your finger to clean off the excess toothpaste!

Jump into the pool and wait for the fogging. That’s all we have with toothpaste!

We hereby do not endorse any toothpaste products. Any toothpaste you choose is at your own risk.
